Complete Spring Cleaning Checklist

A room by room checklist to get your house sparkly clean this Spring!
Spring has sprung!  That means it is time to get that home nice and fresh after being shut up over the long winter months! There is nothing better than a sparkly clean home to start off your Spring season! Warmer temperatures are on their way!  This room by room checklist will help make sure you don’t miss anything and that your home is nice and Spring clean!

Before You Begin

The checklist is broken down by room, you can choose to begin in whichever room you would like. I always like to get the rooms that require scrubbing done first, which would be the kitchen and the bathroom. Then move on to the other rooms. The other thing you need to decide is if you want to clean your windows all a one time or if you want to do them as you go through each room. I usually do mine all at once, so they will not be listed on the room by room checklist.

Cleaning Routines

Spring cleaning, as well as everyday house cleaning, can seem overwhelming, but it’s not too bad when you have a routine. Be on the lookout for my spreadsheets, that break it down by daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal tasks! They will be coming out in the near future!

Let me know what you think! Did I miss anything that should be added? Have you started or finished your Spring Cleaning? Do you prefer to do it all at one time or break it up into different days? As always, I look forward to your feedback!

Happy Spring!!

This is such a through and complete checklist! Printing this out and sticking to my fridge for our spring cleaning session!

  • Wow, this is awesome! I’ve been trying to get my kids to help with spring cleaning, but they just don’t seem to get why we have to do it. I will have every family member do one item on the list each day. We should be done in a month (I hope!).

We’ll have to do a deep clean when spring arrives, but with a baby, not sure how much will actually get done, lol!
