Perfect Non-Candy Easter Baskets For Any Age

If you are anything like me, you are constantly in search of great gift ideas that don’t involve candy.  This is true especially around Easter, which invokes visions of colorful baskets overflowing with chocolate bunnies, peanut butter eggs, and malted milk  balls.  I don’t know about you, but this doesn’t strike me as a great idea to give to my baby and toddler grandchildren.  Mass amounts of sugar and children aren’t usually a great combination in my experience.  I still want to do something fun for them, so I decided  to put  together a themed basket for them. There are all kinds of different options which i will list,  but we are going with a “garden basket” .  I chose this idea because they are going to be having their own little gardens this year! Since they are still pretty young, I will also put a child’s book about gardening and perhaps put the items in a toy wheelbarrow. The ideas are endless and can be done for any age!  Here is a list of fun and candy free Easter Basket ideas to get started.

These are amazing ideas! My mum used to get me the best Easter Baskets growing up, and would hide little things in those plastic Easter eggs… like you mentioned, as I got older, I’d find hair accessories, rings, etc. It was so much fun!

I adore this! I grew up with Easter baskets full of junk food and I’m trying to change the tide for my little one. She’ll be almost one and a half at Easter and that toddler basket and alphabet basket look right up our alley for ideas! Thanks for sharing!

These are wonderful ideas for different Easter baskets. While candy/chocolate is great, these ideas would be so much better and something that will actually last. I especially like the garden Easter basket. Maybe the Easter bunny will have to leave me a basket this year too! 😉

I love all of these basket ideas! They’re awesome. Too bad my girls are too old for Easter baskets, otherwise I would be putting together one from your ideas.
